Ivana Jelinic è il nuovo amministratore delegato di Enit. Fortemente voluta dal ministro del Turismo, Daniela Santanchè, che l’ha designata in queste ore.
Jelinic è la donna più giovane ai vertici dell’Enit. Ha iniziato prestissimo la sua carriera, maturando una lunga esperienza e un background profondamente radicati nel settore.
“Ringrazio il ministro Daniela Santanchè per la fiducia che ha riposto in me - dichiara Jelinic - affidandomi un ruolo così strategico e delicato che mi onora, mi carica di responsabilità e che rappresenta una sfida prestigiosa e avvincente. Quando in Umbria è nato il mio primo progetto di incoming su base regionale scommettemmo su un gruppo di agenzie che volevano superare il concetto della microdimensionalità. Mi piace immaginare che anche il lavoro che andrò a sviluppare in Enit - raccogliendo il testimone di Roberta Garibaldi - possa amplificare le potenzialità e il valore del turismo italiano e del brand Italia. Ce la metterò tutta con la passione e lo spirito di squadra che mi hanno accompagnato fino ad oggi” conclude Jelinic.
NOTE BIOGRAFICHE
Ivana Jelinic ha maturato un’esperienza ventennale occupandosi giovanissima di temi decisivi per le politiche turistiche distributive. Dalla sua agenzia di viaggio, a Panicale in provincia di Perugia, ha disegnato le prospettive di un settore partendo da un’ottica microeconomica per pianificazioni nazionali e internazionali mai così vicine alle imprese. In particolare, ha creato una rete di aziende turistiche locali per sviluppare l’incoming ed esportare il valore delle singole identità territoriali. Consigliere camerale dell’Umbria dal 2015, ha ricoperto prima l’incarico di presidente regionale di Fiavet (Federazione italiana associazioni imprese di viaggi e turismo) in Umbria per poi diventare, nel 2018, la più giovane presidente nazionale di Fiavet rieletta per acclamazione al secondo mandato. Esperta anche di meeting industry, dal 2020 siede nel Cda del Convention Bureau Italia. Come capo delegazione nelle trattative sindacali, è stata artefice di una serie di accordi decisivi, ottenendo il primo Contratto nazionale collettivo di categoria per le agenzie di viaggio. Riserva una costante attenzione alle nuove generazioni e alle donne, cui ha dedicato ricerche e indagini di categoria strategiche per il futuro del comparto. Ha contribuito al dibattito sul turismo e a mantenere viva l’attenzione sul tema durante i momenti difficili della pandemia.

CHOSEN BY TOURISM MINISTER DANIELA SANTANCHÈ
'TOGETHER TO EXPORT THE ITALY BRAND FURTHER AND FURTHER'
Ivana Jelinic is the new managing director of ENIT. Strongly backed by the Italian Minister of Tourism, Daniela Santanchè, who appointed her just a few hours ago.
Jelinic is the youngest woman at the top of ENIT. She started her career at a very early age, gaining extensive experience and a deeply rooted background in the sector.
‘I would like to thank Minister Daniela Santanchè for the trust she has placed in me,’ says Jelinic, ‘entrusting me with such a strategic and delicate role that honours me, gives me a great deal of responsibility, and which represents a prestigious and exciting challenge. When my first incoming project was launched in Umbria on a regional basis, we put our bets on a group of agencies that wanted to overcome the concept of micro-dimensionality. I like to imagine that the work that I am going to develop at ENIT – carrying on with Roberta Garibaldi's efforts – can also amplify the potential and value of Italian tourism and the Italian brand. I will do my best with the passion and team spirit that have accompanied me so far,’ Jelinic concludes.
BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES
Ivana Jelinic has accumulated twenty years of experience dealing with decisive issues in tourism distribution policy at a very young age. From her travel agency in Panicale in the province of Perugia, she outlined the perspectives of a sector starting from a microeconomic perspective for national and international planning that has never been so close to business. In particular, she has created a network of local tourism companies to develop incoming tourism and export the value of individual territorial identities. A member of the Chamber of Commerce of Umbria since 2015, she first held the position of regional president of Fiavet (Federazione italiana associazioni imprese di viaggi e turismo - Italian Federation of Travel and Tourism Business Associations) in Umbria and then became, in 2018, the youngest national president of Fiavet re-elected by acclamation to a second term. An expert also in the meetings industry, since 2020 she sits on the Board of Convention Bureau Italia. As head of delegation in trade union negotiations, she was the architect of a series of decisive agreements, obtaining the first national collective agreement for travel agencies. She keeps a constant eye on the new generations and women, to whom she has dedicated strategic research and category surveys for the future of the sector. She has contributed to the tourism debate and to keeping attention on the issue alive during the difficult times of the pandemic.
